Grilled sea bass

Hey dahls it is the final day of the month. Yay!!!! Hope you have had a very fulfilling month as I did😆. For tonight’s meal I was going to go all out and make something out of this world but on getting home I was too tired and with a headache :(. I decided to make something really quick and nice.

Seabass is a versatile fish that can be cooked, grilled, fried and roasted. Tonight I grilled the fish and was all done in 20 minutes.

Prep time: 5mins
Cook time: 15mins
Serves: 4

Ingredients

4×800g  whole sea bass
2 tablespoons ginger and garlic paste
Salt and black pepper
Olive oil
Lemon juice
4 whole lemons, halved length wise

Directions

Preheat the oven at 240°. Line a baking tray with aluminum foil and set aside

Slash each fish at 3 inch intervals about 0.5cm deep. Season with salt and pepper. Spread the ginger and garlic paste on each fish then drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice.

Put on baking tray and leave in the grill to cook for 15 minutes. Serve with fresh halved lemon.

You can have this meal with vegetables like asparagus and broccoli or peppers and broccoli or broccoli and carrots. Alternative side dishes include potatoes, noodles or rice. All these side dishes work as a perfect companion to this dish. Enjoy 😆;)
